Post-Ecopoiesis Step by Step by KaiSaunders Post-Ecopoiesis Step by Step by KaiSaunders
And the steps :) Original can be found: [link]

Ecopoiesis: The establishment of an artificially assembled, self-sustaining ecosystem on a previously lifeless planet.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Done for the Luminarium's 18th exhibit, Gaia, which can be seen here:[link]

Really enjoyed working on this one, and had a lot of very useful help and advice from the guys at the Luminarium, hope you enjoy!

Wow! Really cool how you made this out of ambiguous blotches of color.

You have such a different style... quite amazing I might add. I love how rough it starts out... that would help me out with composition if I started that way... I just get inspiration and go to town, and realize later that it is completely lacking in composition. Good work though :D

Thanks a bunch! :) I find starting really rough helps a lot, because then im not afraid to scrap loads of the painting to make the comp better :) Anyway, thanks again! Have a nice day!

These step by steps are amazing to look at. So loose at first then Voi'la awesomeness. If you ever get the chance maybe you could do a speedpaint video. That'd be interesting too. :)
